Prince George

Just in time to celebrate Prince George’s first birthday on July 22, Palace officials are releasing three photos of the royal darling. The first adorable shot was shared on Saturday: Prince George toddled around during a visit at the "Sensational Butterflies" exhibition at the Natural History Museum in London on July 2.

PA Wire photographer John Stillwell took the photos while the little prince and his parents visited the "Sensational Butterflies" exhibition at London's Natural History Museum earlier this month. Duchess Kate is one of the museum’s patrons.

Two more adorable images are set to be released Monday, a day before the young royal's big day.

Prince George is enjoying quite the press fete as he approaches age 1; he was the subject of a cover story in Vanity Fair magazine earlier this month.

He's no stranger to the camera: In March, the royal family released a precious portrait of Prince George, Prince William, Duchess Kate and their dog, Lupo, framed in a window of their apartment in Kensington Palace. The sweet image was taken by celebrity photographer Jason Bell, who also took photos at Prince George’s christening in October.

Happy (early) birthday, Prince George! We look forward to more adorable pictures.
